IT Strategy Manager
Department: Operations / Digital Transformation
Reports to: Managing Director / Director
Location: Crowthorne, Berkshire
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per annum, depending on experience
The IT Strategy Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing UKEC International’s technology strategy to support the company’s growth, operational efficiency and delivery of high-quality services to international students, parents, partner schools, host families and other stakeholders. The role will provide strategic and operational leadership across UKEC International’s IT systems, digital platforms, information management, technology suppliers and cybersecurity arrangements. The postholder will assess UKEC International’s current technology environment, identify opportunities for digital transformation and establish a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with UKEC International’s business objectives.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement UKEC International’s IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap.
Manage and improve the organisation’s IT systems, digital platforms and business applications.
Lead technology projects, including system implementation, integration and process automation.
Manage IT suppliers, technology budgets and service delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency through technology and automation.
Develop effective data, reporting and information-management systems.
Maintain appropriate IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection and technology risk controls.
Provide strategic technology advice and recommendations to senior management.
Work with internal teams and external partners to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
Ensure UKEC International’s technology infrastructure and systems are scalable, secure and aligned with its business objectives.
Skills/Qualifications Required
Significant experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, IT management, technology consulting or a related field, with proven experience developing and implementing technology strategies, managing business systems, technology suppliers and IT projects, and translating business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of IT governance, information security, technology risk management and business-process improvement, with excellent stakeholder-management, communication and organisational skills.
Experience in education, international education, student services or another service-based organisation is advantageous.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in IT, computer science, information systems, digital transformation, business or a related discipline is desirable.

ISEB Common Entrance Exam Teachers
We are currently looking for teachers to work with overseas students to help them navigate through the ISEB Pre-Test Entrance Exams and provide online tuition.
We are looking for availability during the day after 12pm, evenings and during school holidays.
Daytime sessions will usually be online. However, sessions during school holidays could be face-to-face if you are based near Crowthorne or Yateley.
Teachers Assistants
We are also currently looking for individuals who can provide good conversational sessions with Chinese students to help with general conversation, including pronunciation, grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing.
